E-Mail Accounts with Hosting Plans

Monday 10 August 2009 @ 2:18 am

One of the best features offered from website hosting plans on the Internet today is the access to email accounts on the host server. The amount of email accounts provided by the host company is typically the deal breaker when a person is deciding whether or not to sign up for a hosting plan with that company. The number of email accounts provided with a plan depends on the size of the plan. If the hosting plan is for a tiny amount of space then the plan will come with only a few accounts.

If the plan is for a medium amount of space then it will come with 100 accounts. Finally, if the plan is for a ton of space then it will either come with over 1,000 accounts or an unlimited amount of email accounts. The price of some hosting plans will increase with the amount of email accounts provided too. All of the accounts will have addresses with @(your website name here) attached to them and will have all of their messages and sent messages saved on the server that hosts the website affiliated with the email accounts.

Prior to agreeing to a contract with a website hosting company one should determine how many email accounts they will need for their website and how much space each account will need once it has been setup for use. This will help the customer determine which plan should be purchased from the hosting company. As mentioned earlier, each different plan has a different storage space on the server, which in turn means different numbers of email accounts.

Finding an Email Provider

Thursday 23 July 2009 @ 6:29 pm

Signing up for an email address takes a matter of seconds, literally seconds, because all you need to provide is your name, date of birth, a username and a password. Now, you have to enter the username and password twice and make sure that the username is not already in use by someone else but this still only takes a couple of seconds. There are plenty of email providers on the Internet that don’t charge a thing for someone to signup for an account and this includes GMail. GMail is run by Google and does not cost a person one cent to signup for an account.

Another way to grab an email account is through the Internet service provider they are signed up with at their office or at home. For instance, if a person uses Comcast as their Internet Service Provider they offer email accounts for their customers to use. All they need to do is create a username and password. The same can be done with Verizon Internet and Opt Online Internet. You don’t have to signup for your Internet Provider’s email accounts though. Its usually never part of the contract. It is just a service they offer to their customers in case they want to use it.

These days we are seeing the majority of people using free email accounts form GMail, Yahoo, Hotmail and many other free email providers on the Internet. It just seems to be the easiest way to get an account and the quickest way as well.

How Email Marketing Can Work for Your Small Business

Monday 29 June 2009 @ 5:17 am

Searching for a low-cost way to reach more customers? It’s time to tap into the power of email marketing! This cost-effective tactic allows you to create email campaigns and send them to your customers and prospects in the click of a button. In this economy, it’s not surprising that savvy small business owners need to find an inexpensive method to communicate with their patrons. Email marketing can be an extremely powerful marketing tool on any budget.

Why Email Marketing Works

When most small businesses try to promote their brand, they often turn to traditional methods like direct mail, newspaper ads or TV spots. While this approach is often essential for building your marketing plan, it certainly is expensive! Email marketing offers the opportunity to boost business outside of conventional, more expensive channels. Still not convinced? Here are four powerfully persuasive reasons to begin your own email marketing campaign today:

  1. It saves you money. It’s no secret that the Internet has revolutionized the way businesses of all sizes connect with their clientele. Email marketing offers an affordable way to reach your customers from your computer – without taxing traditional resources. You’ll soon learn that it’s a great way to boost business at a minimal cost.

  1. It’s easy. Building your email campaign should be an intuitive, pain-free process. Vistaprint offers an email builder that makes it easy for you to create high-quality email campaigns – complete with images, links, headers, specific themes and more. You can create and schedule a campaign in under one hour, and managing your entire contact list, or customer directory is incredibly simple.

  1. It’s measurable. Traditional marketing methods can often be hard to measure. Did that TV ad or print campaign really generate awareness or boost store traffic? You’ll never have to ask these questions with results-driven email marketing. Powerful, real-time tracking tools allow you to get instant results on every campaign you send. With email marketing, you get feedback on who you delivered to, who opened your emails, and who clicked on the links in your email – all in the easy-to-use dashboard tool. These reports allow you to accurately measure the value of your campaigns and to easily adjust future mailings based on this information. Over time your campaigns will become more accurate, more targeted and more insightful.

  1. It’s versatile. Because email marketing is so effortless and affordable, you can easily communicate with customers on a variety of topics. Send targeted emails for in-store events or sponsorships and traditional promotions – or you can even branch out with newsletters to keep customers informed; this builds your credibility and their loyalty. You don’t have to limit yourself with this cost-effective marketing tool!

Now that you’re aware of the benefits of email marketing, it’s time to get started. And remember, it’ll take you less than an hour to create your first campaign!

Reach More Customers for Less with Email Marketing

Monday 29 June 2009 @ 5:16 am

As a small business owner, one of the issues you could be facing every day is how to get ahead of the competition in today’s competitive business market. With budgets tight in the current economic atmosphere, you need an innovative, cost-effective solution that will help you keep customers loyal, drive new growth and increase sales on products and services. That solution is here! Email marketing provides businesses and organizations of all sizes with the tools to constantly stay in front of customers for an incredibly low cost. And just as importantly, you can continue to project your professional image with each email you send.

Traditionally, the best way to inform potential customers about your business was to mail out postcards, brochures and flyers. While this method is still incredibly effective, it can be difficult to track just how successful those campaigns are or whether it’s worth the money you are spending. As people turn to the Internet more and more to find out about local businesses, you have the growing opportunity to reach them in new ways. Email marketing at Vistaprint allows you to create fully-customizable, professionally designed emails that can match your website and other marketing materials for an exceptional price.

With email marketing you can reach as many as 10,000 customers or as little as 50 for as low as .7¢ per contact. When you combine this amazing price with the ability to send out up to 6 emails per month per customer, you get huge savings while also getting maximum exposure to customers and prospects.. Not only is this less expensive than sending something through the mail, it goes directly to your customers’ inboxes where they are sure to see what you’ve sent.

Even better, you can track your email campaigns to find out which ones are the most effective. This will provide you with the feedback you need to keep improving your emails for maximum customer responsiveness. The reports you receive can help you determine which emails were the most effective. For example, did you get a lot of customers coming into your store when you sent out an email with a 50% off coupon? Was business slower on the weeks that you didn’t send an email? By using data like this, you can create campaigns that work for your business, allowing you to effectively spend money while growing your customer base.

Email marketing can also be used to keep your customers informed and updated about events, new products or services, sales and more. Whether you opt for a newsletter format, a quick-hit sale email or anything else you can imagine, email marketing allows you to communicate with your customers frequently and affordably.
