Signing up for an email address takes a matter of seconds, literally seconds, because all you need to provide is your name, date of birth, a username and a password. Now, you have to enter the username and password twice and make sure that the username is not already in use by someone else but this still only takes a couple of seconds. There are plenty of email providers on the Internet that don’t charge a thing for someone to signup for an account and this includes GMail. GMail is run by Google and does not cost a person one cent to signup for an account.
Another way to grab an email account is through the Internet service provider they are signed up with at their office or at home. For instance, if a person uses Comcast as their Internet Service Provider they offer email accounts for their customers to use. All they need to do is create a username and password. The same can be done with Verizon Internet and Opt Online Internet. You don’t have to signup for your Internet Provider’s email accounts though. Its usually never part of the contract. It is just a service they offer to their customers in case they want to use it.
These days we are seeing the majority of people using free email accounts form GMail, Yahoo, Hotmail and many other free email providers on the Internet. It just seems to be the easiest way to get an account and the quickest way as well.
