Selecting a web hosting service isn’t always easy. You have so many things to consider. How much does it cost? What do they offer? Is there customer service reliable and friendly? Your best bet is to speak with friends who have used similar services and see what they think. If your friends don’t have websites, what do you do? Well, you could read my review. I’m going to review 1&1 Web Hosting, so you’ll know whether you should consider this company or not when launching your website. Read on my curious friend.
For $9.95 a month you’ll get 250 GB of disk space and 2500 GB of bandwidth from 1&1 Web Hosting. This price is rather steep, compared to other services like hostmonster.com and justhost.com. They only charge $3.95 a month and you get unlimited bandwidth and hosting space. So, for more money you get less with 1&1 Web Hosting. Not a good start. Let’s talk about some of the other features and fees.
1&1 Web Hosting doesn’t charge any setup or domain fees and they offer a 30-day money back guarantee. This is all well and good, but what about the other features? For $9.95, you’ll only get one domain. Almost every other top web hosting service allows for an unlimited amount of domains. They also only allow for 1,000 email accounts. Again, other services that are cheaper offer unlimited email.
As you can probably tell by now, you shouldn’t consider 1&1 Web Hosting for your website. There are much better options available.
